Abundance vs Scarcity Mindset

Aug 12, 2018

I live a life of abundance, meaning that the minute that I learn something, I say “Okay I learned that, now I have to share it with someone.” That’s how I live.

I believe that God has put me on this earth, in the current position I'm in for a reason. I have resources to information, and I don’t think I’m supposed to hold that for myself.

Now conversely, some people don’t have that mindset. They are like “If I learn something, I’m keeping it for myself. If I learn something, I’m not sharing it, unless someone is paying me.

So how is this relevant? I think it is relevant for a couple of reasons. I believe in the field of physical therapy you rarely see collaboration. That's a problem... and it's hurting our field big time.

I recently had an exclusive mastermind event, and there were three of us: Aaron Lebauer, Paul Gough, and myself.

Now could we have done the mastermind by ourselves? Yes.... But I would say that to the people that came to my mastermind event they got 3 different perspectives instead of one.

So why were we able to havethree guys on the top of their game  be prepared to share the stage together, and to be able to do an event like that together?

It's because we all believe in a life of abundance.

I might resonate with you, but I might not. I live a life of abundance.  I believe that the minute that I learn something I need to share it with my students as quickly as possible. That's what I think. And because I believe in a life of abundance, it's effortless for me to collaborate with others because I don't ever feel as though what I have I shouldn't share. And I genuinely believe that the mindset that we have with regards to being in a life of abundance is what has allowed our group Smart Success PT Nation to be able to grow at the rate that it is growing.
